If you're planning a 2027 gorilla trek, now is a good time to start. Here's what we know about permit prices, which dates go first, and how to lock in yours.
The 2027 permit price
As of October 2026, the Rwanda gorilla permit costs $1,500 per person for international visitors, and we're not aware of any announced change for 2027. The price is set by the Rwanda Development Board and has been at this level since 2017. If RDB announces a change, we'll update this page — and we confirm the current fee in writing with every booking. Full details in our gorilla permits guide.
